Calling all YSA in the stake! As some of you know, the fireside in August will be given by the legendary Colin Chick, and he has requested that the topic for discussion at the fireside be open to suggestion by us, the ysa. He emphasises to suggest topics we feel
need discussing, not just what we
want discussed. Let's not play "stump the apostle"...especially since there will be no apostles present. OR
will there? Hmm the intrigue...
Anyway, to make a suggestion click on the comments link under this post and type up your suggestion, choose the "anonymous" option (so there's no need to be shy), and presto! we get an idea of what you need, all from the comfort of your own computer! I think it would be good to discuss the different ways the spirit will confirm something with us or prompt us, as you hear people give big talks at church about these amazing experiances and you are left to wonder sometimes why you haven't felt something like that.
i was thinking that perhaps it might be nice to talk on the importance of friedship. and how to be a good friend
well I was thinking that we could discuss how to live a more christ-like life. Or how we can incorporate Christ into our everyday lives and not just have him be second or third in line :)
